Not Much Going On Here

I have my 20 month old grandson, Tobias, staying with me for a couple of days, so the only time I can get anything significant done is when he's gone nunights! Even though he seems to be extremely self contained and entertains himself really happily, I have to keep a very watchful eye on him, particularly as he seems to be attracted to all the sharp things associated with sewing bears!

  1. What a handsome young man you've got there Linda! and with a beautiful cheeky smile too !
Like Tobias my grandchildren were always interested in the sharp things and it does force one to keep the 'kit' altogether when they are around. Cheers for a happy weekend.

  2. Oh he's a cutie Linda, and I am sure he's a joy to have around.
However, I am thankful all my grandies are now teenagers and I don't have to be "tidy"...the one blessing of being an "oldie".

  3. He looks like he would have so much fun with Elkie!!!! Elkie has learnt...Luckily... not to touch any of my bear things...don't know how really but she must have sensed it was a no no, but I still have to wait till night time to get stuck into things. Kindy this year, so all going well I may get a few hours of daytime, cleartime to do......BEARS!!!!!!!
YAHOOOOOOOOO!!! I will miss her to bits while she is at kindy though.......:)

  4. My 3 year old son is very good with my bear things - luckily! Now my 6 month old daughter who is just starting to crawl and get into things is another matter, I think she is going to be a handful :)!

Linda I love your bears, especially their paw pads!! I have just started my journey into making bears & am loving learning new techniques. If you are ever in SA doing a workshop I would love to hear! I do my classes with Sandra-Kay Murphy - Bearmania.

  8. Hmmm, I know what you mean Raewyn, I don't know where time flies these days! He's a gorgeous little boy, so happy and content. He NEVER cries! Though, I'll be glad when all the teeth are through and the permanent drip on the end of his chin disappears! He he.
